Area Amateur Radio NETs
NETs (network operations) are organized on-air gatherings where amateur radio operators check in, practice communications, and share information. Below are the regular NETs in our area.

NET Etiquette
How to Check In:
- Listen first to understand the format
- Wait for Net Control to call for check-ins
- Give your callsign clearly (phonetics optional)
- State if you have traffic or just checking in
- Be brief and courteous
General Guidelines:
- Use proper operating procedures
- Keep transmissions concise
- No rag-chewing during formal nets
- Turn off CTCSS/PL squelch to hear all stations
- Stand by if you miss your turn
- Thank Net Control when you sign off
