Welcome to our community of radio enthusiasts! We are dedicated to promoting amateur radio operations, education, and fellowship among operators of all skill levels.

This site is a suplement to Ak-Sar-Ben Amateur Radio Club official website.

What We Do

  • Monthly Meetings: Join us for regular meetings where we discuss projects, share knowledge, and plan activities
    • Meetings are open to the public and are held on the second Friday of most months at the American Red Cross, 2912 S 80th Ave. Park and enter on the west side of the building. Meetings start at 7 pm. Technical presentation and disussion starts at 7:30 pm.
    • Board meetings are open to the public. They take place at 6 pm on the last Tuesday of each month at 76th & Cass St. Hy-Vee in the Cafe
  • Community Service: We participate in public service events and Douglas County Nebraska ARES/SKYWARN
  • Education: We offer licensing classes and technical workshops for operators at all levels
  • Social Events: Connect with fellow hams at our social gatherings, field day operations, and Groups.io email forum
